Some Elder’s Council members expressing their disappointment about not being featured in the very first edition of the Pearl of Africa Newsletter. It seems some assumed they would automatically appear in the publication, simply because of their position.
We want to take this opportunity, onceagain,toclarifyhowthePearl of Africa Newsletter works for all our readers, especially those who might have misunderstood our approach. Our goal is to be a platform for everyone in the Ugandan community.
The Pearl of Africa Newsletter isn’t about automatic inclusion based on a title or position. Instead, it’s about giving a voice to the community. Anyone within the Ugandan community can write on anything they wish to be published if they think it will benefit the community.
