Community meeting Scheduled for 06 Sept 2025
Since the Ugandan community in Pretoria transitioned to new leadership under Chairman Ssenkubuge George William, it has become customary to hold a general community meeting where all Ugandans come together to discuss the way forward. A variety of activities will be held, including a health camp, free legal consultations from lawyers, and guidance from immigration officials on how to acquire legal documents to stay in South Africa. Ugandans from different parts of the country will converge, offering a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends. It will truly be a case of “killing two birds with one stone,” as we enjoy ourselves, we will also gain valuable knowledge from different areas of life.
Chairman Ssenkubuge’s leadership is changing the game; miss this at your own risk! Community members will have access to health screenings for various conditions, including chronic diseases such as cancer and diabetes. This will not be just an ordinary gathering; it will be a meaningful and productive conversation among Ugandans. There will be plenty of food and drinks, and later in the evening, we’ll enjoy an open bar.
It’s going to be a day of learning, unity, and celebration. We warmly invite all Ugandans living in South Africa, regardless of religion or political affiliation, to attend our second annual celebration under this new leadership. Come one, come all, and be part of the dawn of a new era in our community.
