Presidetial adivisor Hajati Namyaalo giving out a bundle of $10,000usd to women in Pretoria West at Kibombo’s shop

JOHANNESBURG – In a move that has sent shockwaves through the Ugandan diaspora in South Africa, President Yoweri Museveni has reportedly given R3.6 million to the President of the Cousa. The revelation came during a major gathering of NRM supporters in Johannesburg, attended by COUSA members from across South Africa. The meeting, a show of force for the ruling party’s supporters abroad, was graced by Hajati Namyaalo, representing the office of the President of Uganda, and also saw the presence of another presidential advisor Mr. Balaam among the attendees.

However, the most explosive detail came from sources in Uganda, who revealed the true purpose of the visit: a substantial cash injection to Cousa leadership.

This staggering amount of R3.6 million was allegedly intended for distribution among Ugandans living in South Africa, with the stated goal of “enriching themselves.” This development has ignited a firestorm of questions and accusations. Instead of investing that money in initiatives to uplift poverty-stricken Ugandans at home, Museveni is allegedly sending funds to those who left the country due to the very poverty created and perpetuated by his government.

Uganda remains one of the poorest countries in the world. According to the latest World Bank data, Uganda ranks very low on the Human Development Index. Of the 45.9 million people, only 2.7 million have bank accounts, and only 1% of these earn more than Shs 1 million a month. The rest survive on as little as Shs 150,000.

It is therefore shocking that, instead of prioritizing Ugandans back home, Museveni is allegedly channeling money to the diaspora. This is nothing short of blackmail, portraying Ugandans living in South Africa as beneficiaries of taxpayer money while their fellow citizens back home continue to suffer.

However It remains unclear if the money was distributed to all attendees at the Johannesburg meeting or if it will be distributed later?

P u b l i c R e j e c t s president advisor Hajati Namyaalo in Langlaagte In a very surprising event, Hajati Namyaalo was turned away by a group of Ugandans in Langlaagte. She was trying to speak to them at a social gathering. But the people did not give her a microphone. The crowd made their feelings very clear. They said they did not want her money.

They also announced that their chosen leader is Bobi Wine. Other Ugandans were holding signs and protesting. The signs said they were “tired of the old man and his government.” As all this happened, the minister was left standing outside in the cold evening. She was only with a small group of people she had brought with her. It was a strong sign of how much she was rejected by the people.
