For Applicants Outside Uganda:
If you are a Ugandan citizen residing abroad, you will need to log in to the portal using your valid email address. This provides a secure and convenient way to access the system from anywhere in the world.
Optimal Device Usage:
For the best possible experience and to avoid any technical difficulties, it is crucial to access the pre-registration portal using a desktop or laptop computer. The system is specifically optimized for these devices. Please refrain from using mobile phones or tablets, as this may lead to functionality issues and hinder your application progress.
At the end of the registration process, the system will ask you to go NIRA agent for capturing of your biometrics, for those in diaspora, its your Ugandan Embassy. We urge all eligible citizens who have not yet obtained their National ID to take advantage of this pre-registration phase.
