Chairman Manswanku of Soweto Munomukabi

Soweto, South Africa – The normal evening that began with much anticipation as Chairman MaswankuofSowetoMunomukabi hosted Mr. Kibombo, the President of COUSA. The agenda was set to discuss pressing issues affecting the Ugandan diaspora in Soweto. However, mere minutes into the program, community members began to bombard the Mr. Kibombo with questions specifically centered around the relationship between COUSA and the facilitation of their documents.

Eyewitnesses report that President Kibombo struggled to provide satisfactory answers to these questions, leaving the audience increasingly frustrated. As the barrage of inquiries intensified, Chairman Maswanku reportedly began censoring questions, deleting some from the public forum. The situation escalated further when Mr. Maswanku, in an attempt to control the narrative, granted Mr. Kibombo admin privileges, which the COUSA President then allegedly used to delete more of the “most pressing” questions.

This move did not sit well with the community, including prominent figures such as Mr. Lutwaama, the esteemed Speaker of the Soweto Executive. In a swift and decisive move, Mr. Lutwaama intervened, ejecting Mr. Kibombo from the platform and, critically, revoking Chairman Maswanku’s admin privileges.

The fallout was immediate and far-reaching. The rapid unfolding of events culminated in the shocking news that, as of today, the entire Soweto Munomukabi Executive has been dissolved. Meetings are currently underway across Soweto to prepare for the swift replacement of the ousted executive, signaling a significant shake-up in the leadership of the Ugandan community in the area.

Kibombo’s Troubles Continued on 88.8 Suid Fm, the largest platform in Eastern Cape.

After being ejected from the Soweto Community platform, Mr. Kibombo attempted to find another forum for his voice, with the 88.8 Suid Fm group granting him a chance. However, even here, things didn’t go well as the interview never concluded. Community members quickly fired questions at Mr. Kibombo regarding his business, alleging he sold them cars without proper documents, and that other vehicles were fabricated and hence overpriced. This, once again, did not sit well with Mr. Kibombo, who reportedly threatened to sue a caller. The caller, undeterred, countered by stating they had evidence to back their claims. From this point, more words were exchanged, and the interview never reached a resolution.
