Brothers and sisters, fellow countrymen and women we may have lost this battle, but we have not lost the war.
Participation in Ugandan elections is not futile. On the contrary, it serves a critical purpose: it continues to expose the madness, corruption, and moral bankruptcy of the Museveni regime. Each sham election peels back another layer of deception and provides further justification for the inevitable liberation of our country.
Liberation will happen without fail. But the world must understand why it happened. That is why engagement matters.
Let no one be mistaken: the liberators know very well that a mere piece of paper cannot remove Museveni from power. They understand this reality fully. Elections are not the weapon; they are only one chapter in the final assault. When the time comes, the necessary tools will be used to achieve the ultimate objective.
In this regard, we ironically thank all the NRM actors who turned this election into a perfect demonstration of why the regime must fall and fall soon. Their actions have helped expose individual enemies, identify their venom, and reveal just how far the regime is willing to go to cling to power.
However, I must appeal to the young, inexperienced regime operatives and even the foolish older ones, to restrain your violence. This cycle of brutality cannot continue forever. If you must steal votes, that is one thing, but do not kill our people.
Because make no mistake: when the hour of reckoning comes and it surely will, violence will be repaid in equal measure. The most reasonable gentleman’s agreement available to you is this:
You will be overthrown. Your stolen properties will be taken. But if you have not killed or tortured anyone, you will not be harmed.
If, however, you choose to make yourselves a nuisance through bloodshed, then welcome, the consequences will meet you head-on.
Some of you feel secure because of secret arrangements with powerful global actors. Let me assure you: their silence is temporary. No deal lasts forever, and no crime remains hidden indefinitely.
We shall defeat them.
Just wait. And as you can clearly see we are not cowards at all.
